Resistance bands vs. weights for glutes

Bands are portable and effective when they make the target movement challenging. Weights make load easier to quantify and extend progression for large compound lifts. The most practical program may use both.

How to decide

Choose the option you can perform consistently with an appropriate range, stable technique, and measurable progression. Exercise selection is only one part of results; total training, recovery, and adherence matter more than finding a supposed winner.
